Update on Labatt v. Brick Brewing Lawsuit over Lime Beer
Marketing Magazine reports that Anheuser-Busch and Labatt have amended their Statement of Claim in their lawsuit against Brick Brewing over Brick’s lime flavoured beer, previously reported here.
The amendments apparently remove the depreciation of goodwill claim and alter the punitive damages claim. A review of the Federal Court’s docket for the case indicates that the amendments were probably made in response to a motion to strike portions of the Statement of Claim.
